Z-Library is one of the largest resources in the world, providing free access to unique books and scientific articles in many different languages since 2009. The main purpose of Z-Library’s existence is to enhance the level of education of people around the world. As you may know, almost all public domains of the library were blocked in November 2022 by order of the US Secret Service. The inner infrastructure of the project suffered some substantial damage too. At the moment, Z-Library is going through the hardest times in all the 14 years of its existence.
However, despite all the difficulties, the library continues to function and develop. We have recently introduced several important features:
Converted almost all books to web-readable format, allowing them to be read online;
Reading books online is also available in the new Android app version;
Released a portable version of the desktop application on Windows;
Opened Litera Point registration for the global paper library project (Litera Library);
Designed and launched a tool to add paper books to our website;
Improved recommendation system based on book texts + added a book recommendation section to the search results;
Redesign of book covers and website footer;
Improvements in the Booklist section: booklist menu, color-coding your booklist for easy organization, sorting option on a booklist page;
And more.
On March 15, 2024, as in March and September of each year, we launched additional fundraising to project maintenance and development. The fundraising will run until April 1, 2024
Millions of people, mostly from educational institutions, use Z-Library for their purposes. And that means we’re on the right track. However, reaching our goals would be challenging without your support. Your active support gives strength to our Team and inspires to work.
