Hi there,

We’re changing how free API access works on Cerebras. Starting today, new accounts will get $5 in free credits after adding a verified payment method.

What this means for you
The current free API tier will remain available to you until August 17, 2026. On that date, your account will be transitioned to the new free credit-based experience. You’ll be required to add a payment method to unlock $5 in free credits to continue to use the service.
